ERYS -Jaden Smith Reimagined
For this project I showed how I would have style music artist, Jaden Smith, for his album: ERYS, if given the opportunity. I looked at the overall feel of the music video, cover art, visualizers, all things related to the album. After doing much research, this is how I styled him for the video content needed for the album.
Jaden often mixes neutral colors like tan, brown, and white with denim, and loves to layer jewelry with pearls. Additionally, he always carries a bag with him, often a small Louis Vuitton. Jaden mentions that his music aims to create a feeling of experiencing a sunset - a beautiful and immersive image that I replicate while styling.

I wanted to highlight how I've blended traditional and non-traditional gender norms to create a unique and interesting look. The pairing of a skirt over jeans creates a distinctive look that challenges traditional gender norms and pushes the boundaries of what is considered acceptable attire, as Jaden is constantly doing. I made sure to include a jacket because he is always trying new outerwear and enjoys layering pieces.
